NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING AMARILLO METROPOLITAN PLANNING ORGANIZATION The Amarillo Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will hold a public meeting for consideration of a revision of the 2025-50 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) and a revision of the 2025-28 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The MTP and the TIP are financially constrained planning documents. The 2025-2050 MTP is a blueprint for development of future transportation improvements for the Amarillo Metropolitan Area. Amarillo's TIP documents are developed to implement transportation projects identified in the MTP. The TIP is a financially constrained planning document. The 2025-28 TIP contains federally funded projects with cost estimates and funding sources, as identified in the long-range plan. Transportation projects done within the Amarillo MPO's boundary must be in the TIP to be eligible for federal funding. REQUEST FOR COMMENTS Interested parties may submit comments concerning the revision of these documents until October 09, 2025.
