NOTICE SEALED BIDS will be received and publicly opened by the Town Council of the Borough of Chambersburg of Franklin County at 100 South Second Street, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, until 10:00 A.M., prevailing time, MONDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2025, for the following: Full Depth Reclamation for Pleasant Street and Curb and Sidewalk installation along Pleasant Street from Franklin Street to Elder Street. A pre-bid meeting will be held on MONDAY, OCTOBER 27, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Borough Hall, 100 South Second Street, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. The Contract involves the competitive solicitation for Full Depth Reclamation for Pleasant Street and Curb and Sidewalk installation along Pleasant Street from Franklin Street to Elder Street. Specifications may be obtained at the office of the Borough Secretary, 100 South Second Street, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania 17201, for a $25.00 non-refundable fee or viewed at www.borough.chambursburg.pa.us. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $1,000.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Borough. A Proposal Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bidders maximum bid price is required to accompany the Bid. Performance and payment bonds or a certified check each in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder once the contract is awarded. An anti-collusion affidavit is required for this bid. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
