PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Mount Holly Township Planning Board at a public hearing held on September 15, 2025, granted Virtua-Memorial Hospital Burlington County, Inc. ("Virtua") preliminary and final major subdivision and site plan approval with bulk variance relief to develop a four-story, 137,000-square-foot building to provide 64 private beds and 10 operating rooms at the east side of the existing main hospital building, along with parking area improvements and related site modifications. The approval also allowed Virtua to consolidate 86 lots into 3 lots. The subject property is located on Madison Avenue, Mt. Holly, NJ, further identified as Block 98, Lots 1-4,4.01, 5, 5.01, 6, 6.01, 7, 7.01, 8-26 & 28-30; Block 99, Lots 1-16; Block 100, Lots 1-32; Block 101, Lots 12-15 & 27 on the Mt. Holly Township Tax Map.
In addition, Virtua was permitted to use an off-site lot as a staging area during construction. The referenced lot is located at 27 Cedar Street, Mt. Holly, NJ, and is further identified as Block 69, Lot 29 on the Mt. Holly Township Tax Map.
The approving resolution was memorialized on October 20, 2025. The resolution and all relevant data are on file with the Mount Holly Land Use Administrator and may be inspected by the public during regular business hours at the Mount Holly Township Municipal Building, 23 Washington Street, Mount Holly, NJ 08060.
