NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Please take notice that Adriana J. Perez, owner of property at 129 Vanderburgh Avenue, Rutherford, NJ (Block 181, Lot 9; R-1 Zone), has applied to the Zoning Board of Adjustment for use variances pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70(d)(1) and (d)(2) to permit the continuation and expansion of a legally pre-existing two-family dwelling in the R-1 Zone, together with related bulk (C) variances for front-yard and rear-yard setbacks, and any other relief the Board may deem necessary.
The proposal converts the existing half-story to a full second story with no expansion of the existing footprint and no increase in dwelling units.
A public hearing will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at Borough Hall, 176 Park Avenue, Rutherford, New Jersey 07070, at which time all interested persons may appear and be heard. The application materials are available for public inspection by appointment by calling the Board Secretary at 201-460-3034 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday.
