Notice is hereby given that the Annual Election of the Big Flats Fire District #1 will take place on December 9, 2025 between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm at the Big Flats Fire Station located at 505 Maple Street, Town of Big Flats, Chemung County, New York, for the purpose of electing one Commissioner for a five year term commencing January 1, 2026 to December 31. 2030 and one Commissioner for a four-year term commencing January 1,2026 to December 31, 2029. All residents of the Fire District duly registered with the Chemung County Board of Elections as of November 16,2025 shall be eligible to vote. Candidates for the District Office shall have filed their names with the Secretary of the Big Flats Fire District #1, 505 Maple Street, Big Flats, NY 14814 no later than November 19,2025 at 5:00pm.
