YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that a Complaint has been filed. This litigation is to quiet title to certain real property legally described as follows:
A PORTION OF SECTION 08, TOWNSHIP 36 SOUTH, RANGE 18 EAST, SARASOTA COUNTY, FLORIDA; BEING A PORTION OF LOT 8, NEWTOWN FARMS, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 4, PAGE 38, OF SAID PUBLIC RECORDS; BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
COMMENCE AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SAID LOT 8; THENCE S09°06'50"E, ALONG THE WESTERLY LINE OF SAID LOT 8, ALSO BEING THE EASTERLY RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF CARVER STREET (A 40 FOOT WIDE RIGHT OF WAY PER SAID PLAT), A DISTANCE OF 91.12 FEET TO A POINT BEING 90.00 FEET SOUTH OF AND PARALLEL WITH THE NORTH LINE OF SAID LOT 8 TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE N89°53'44"E, ALONG SAID LINE 90.00 FEET SOUTH AND PARALLEL WITH THE NORTH LINE OF SAID LOT 8, A DISTANCE OF 96.62 FEET; THENCE S09°06'50"E, A DISTANCE OF 10.12 FEET TO A POINT ON A LINE 100.00 FEET SOUTH AND PARALLEL WITH THE NORTH LINE OF SAID LOT 8; THENCE S89°53'44"W, ALONG SAID LINE 100.00 FEET SOUTH AND PARALLEL WITH THE NORTH LINE OF LOT 8, A DISTANCE OF 96.62 FEET TO THE WEST LINE OF SAID LOT 8; THENCE N09°06'50"W, ALONG THE WEST LINE OF SAID LOT 8 AND THE EASTERLY LINE OF SAID CARVER STREET, A DISTANCE OF 10.12 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
CONTAINING 966 SQUARE FEET, OR 0.022 ACRES, MORE OR LESS.

COMMENCE AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF SAID LOT 8; THENCE S89°33'44"W, ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF SAID LOT 8, A DISTANCE OF 75.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE S00°06'16"E, A DISTANCE OF 10.00 FEET; THENCE S89°53'44 "W, A DISTANCE OF 25.00 FEET; THENCE N00°06'16"W, A DISTANCE OF 10.00 FEET TO THE NORTH LINE OF SAID LOT 8; THENCE N89°53'44"E, ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF SAID LOT 8, A DISTANCE OF 25.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
CONTAINING 250 SQUARE FEET, OR 0.006 ACRES, MORE OR LESS.
WILLIAM HOWARD is required to serve a copy of his answer and written defenses, if any, to the Complaint to Aidan A. Gross, Esquire, Plaintiff’s Attorney, whose address is 2033 Main Street, Suite 600, Sarasota, Florida 34237 on or before December 1, 2025.
You must also file your original answer and written defenses, if any, with the Clerk of Court, Sarasota County, either before service on Plaintiff’s attorney or immediately thereafter; OTHERWISE, A DEFAULT WILL BE ENTERED AGAINST YOU for the relief demanded in Plaintiffs’ Complaint.
