NOTICE Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 197.3632(3), Florida Statutes, that the Board of County Commissioners of Leon County, Florida, intends to utilize the Uniform Method for the levy, collection, and enforcement of non-ad valorem assessments for the purpose of collecting sewer service usage charges and readiness-to-serve charges on the following real properties: A portion of land lying in Section 19, Township 1 South, Range 1 East, Leon County, Florida More particularly described as follows: Lots 1, 2 and 13 of Belair Subdivision recorded in Plat Book 2, Page 87 of the Leon County Public Records.   These properties being in Leon County, Florida. The assessment is intended to recover all charges related to sewer service, including readiness-to-serve charges, for such real property where the property owners do not have a City of Tallahassee metered utility account. Notice is also hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners of Leon County, Florida, will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as such matter may be heard, at the County Commission Chambers, 5th Floor, Leon County Courthouse, 301 South Monroe Street, Tallahassee, Florida, to consider utilizing the Uniform Method of levy, collection, and enforcement of non-ad valorem assessments for the purpose of collecting sewer service usage charges and readiness-to-serve charges on the real property located as described above. All interested parties are invited to present their comments at the public hearing at the time and place set out above. Interested parties may also provide virtual real-time public comments during the public hearing. Interested parties wishing to provide virtual real-time public comments must complete and submit the registration form provided at https://www2.leoncountyfl.gov/coadmin/agenda/ by 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 8, 2025.
