Notice of Public Hearing December 1, 2025, 6:30 PM Newport City Hall, Council Chambers 43 Broadway, Newport, RI 02840  The Newport Planning Board will hold a public hearing to consider amendments to the Newport Subdivision Regulations, Section I – General Provisions, Section IV – Administration and associated application forms. The purpose of the amendments is to bring local regulations into compliance with the recently changed state law.  The proposed amendments are available for review in the City Planner’s Office in Newport City Hall, 43 Broadway, Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:30pm and on the Planning Board’s webpage https://www.cityofnewport.com/en-us/city-hall/boards- commissions/boards/ planning-board  All persons interested in the above are respectfully requested to be present at the time and place to be heard thereon. The amendments may be altered or revised prior to the close of the public hearing without further advertising. Facilities are accessible for people with disabilities.
