Plaintiff, the Benjamin Malkowski and Beulah M. Malkowski Revocable Living Trust has filed a complaint seeking to quiet title to a portion of a parcel of land located in the North part of the Northeast Fractional Quarter of Section 28, Township 1 North, Range 5 East, Livingston County tax identification number 4715-28-204-066 (the “Gap Parcel”).
The Gap Parcel comprises a triangular parcel of land that was previously submerged under the waters of Strawberry Lake, and which now abuts Lots 19 and 20 of the Pearson’s Subdivision.
The complaint was filed by Plaintiff against various defendants including, but not limited to, the Unknown Heirs and Devisees of Alexander H. Pearson and the Unknown Heirs and Devisees of Nellie J. Pearson, as the last known owners of the Gap Parcel, in the 44th Circuit Court for the County of Livingston, State of Michigan. These Defendants must answer or take other action permitted by law within 28 days after the last date of the publication of this notice. If Defendants the Unknown Heirs and Devisees of Alexander H. Pearson and the Unknown Heirs and Devisees of Nellie J. Pearson do not answer or take other action within the time allowed, judgment may be entered against them for the relief demanded in Plaintiff’s complaint.
