NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED
MULTIFAMILY HOUSING REVENUE BOND FINANCING
BY THE PETERSBURG REDEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING
AUTHORITY FOR THE BENEFIT OF
MALONE PLACE LIMITED PARTNERSHIP
Notice is hereby given that the Petersburg Redevelopment and Housing Authority (the "Authority"), which conducts its meetings at the Authority's offices at 128 South Sycamore Street, Petersburg, Virginia 23803, will hold a public hearing on the plan of financing of Malone Place Limited Partnership, a Virginia limited partnership (the "Borrower"), the general partner of which is Malone Place GP, LLC, an Ohio limited liability company that is authorized to transact business in the Commonwealth of Virginia, each of whose principal place of business in Virginia is located at 500 East Main Street, Suite 1600-136, Norfolk, Virginia 23510, for the issuance by the Authority of its multifamily housing revenue bonds (collectively, the "Bonds") in one or more series at one or more times in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $15,000,000 to assist the Borrower in (1) financing and/or reimbursing the Borrower for all or a portion of the costs of acquisition, construction and equipping of Malone Place Apartments, a multifamily apartment complex to be located at 230 Medical Park Boulevard, Petersburg, Viginia 23805, consisting of 76 apartment units in one three-story residential building, which is expected to include a community room, a fitness center, a laundry facility, a playground and related parking lots and administrative offices, all to be situated on approximately 25.4 acres of land (collectively, all such facilities are referred to as the "Project"); (2) funding any required reserve funds for debt service on the Bonds; and (3) paying all or a portion of the costs of issuance of the Bonds.
The Bonds will not constitute a debt or pledge of the faith and credit of the Authority or the City of Petersburg, Virginia, and neither the faith and credit nor the taxing power of the Commonwealth of Virginia or any political subdivision thereof, including the City of Petersburg, Virginia, will be pledged to the payment of such Bonds.
The public hearing, which may be continued or adjourned, will be held before the Authority at 6:00 p.m. local time, or as soon thereafter as may be heard, on Monday, November 24, 2025, in the Authority's offices at 128 South Sycamore Street, Petersburg, Virginia 23803. Any person interested in the issuance of the Bonds or the location or nature of the Project may appear at the hearing and present his or her views. A copy of the Borrower's application may be inspected at the office of the Petersburg Redevelopment and Housing Authority at the address stated above during business hours.
