In general, the major work items include: The replacement of the existing Digester 4 floating cover with a fixed stainless-steel cover, including but not limited to the demolition of the existing floating cover, installation of the new fixed cover, removal and reinstallation of associated safety valves, level transmitters, and other associated appurtenances/ supporting facilities, and other miscellaneous work as outlined in the plans and technical specifications. The Bidders attention is directed to Nevada Revised Statutes 338.01165 setting forth the requirements for the use of apprentices on public works which requires a contractor or subcontractor to comply with certain requirements relating to the use of apprentices on public works.
