DCWWA PUBLIC NOTICE FOR NOVEMBER BOARD MEETING & PUBLIC HEARING   PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Wednesday, November 19th, 2025 at 4:30 p.m. (local time) the Dutchess County Water and Wastewater Authority will hold a public hearing at their administrative offices located at 1 Lagrange Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY for the purposes of establishing 2026 water usage rates for the Central Dutchess Water Transmission Line and for the following Zones of Assessment in the Dutchess County Water District: Hyde Park Water (Zone A & Zone B), Staatsburg (Zone C), Zone D, Zone L, Schreiber Water (Zone E), Rokeby Water (Zone F), Valley Dale Water, Dalton Farms (Zone H), Jeffery Groves (Zone I), Shore Haven Water (Zone J), Birch Hill Water (Zone K), Zone L (Zone L), Fairways Water (Zone M), Airport Water Line (Zone N), Arbors Water (Zone O), Violet Avenue Water (Zone P), Greenbush Water (Zone Q), Pinebrook Water (Zone R), Greenfields Water (Zones S&T), Quaker Hills Water (Zone U), Traditions Water (Zone W) and Tivoli Water (Zone X); and for establishing 2025 sewer usage rates for the Chelsea Cove Sewer System (PCSD No.1), Valley Dale Sewer System (PCSD No. 2), Dalton Farms Sewer System (PCSD No. 3), Fairways Sewer System (PCSD No. 6), Pinebrook Sewer System (PCSD No. 7), Greenfields Sewer System (PCSD No. 8), Obercreek Sewer System (PCSD No. 9), Vanderburgh Cove Sewer System (PCSD No. 10), Traditions Sewer System (PCSD No. 11) and Tivoli Sewer System (PCSD No. 13).   In addition to the rates, the Authority has established a schedule of interest and penalty charges for unpaid water and sewer bills. The Authority further proposes to submit all unpaid water and sewer charges to the Dutchess County Legislature for relevy in November of 2026 and annually thereafter.   All written communications addressed to the Authority pertaining to the proposed rates shall be sent by US mail, fax, email, or commercial common carrier and must be received by the Authority at its offices no later than 3:00 p.m. (local time) on the date of the public hearing.   On or about November 19th, 2025, copies of the proposed rates to be established for 2026 will be posted on the Authority’s website for public review (www.DCWWA.org).
