NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND INTENT TO ADOPT ORDINANCE NOTICE is hereby given that the Hopewell Township Board of Supervisors, York County, Pennsylvania, at their next regularly scheduled meeting on December 4, 2025, 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Building at 3336 Bridgeview Road, Stewartstown, PA 17363, will hold a public hearing following which the Board will consider and may adopt an Ordinance entitled, “AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 19 [SOLAR ENERGY] OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP, YORK COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA.” Section 1 amends § 19-103 of the Hopewell Township Code of Ordinances by adding a definition for agrivoltaics. Section 2 amends § 19-104 of the Hopewell Township Code of Ordinances to add additional interconnection notice requirements and revised glare analysis standards for Accessory Solar Energy Systems. Section 3 amends § 19-105 of the Hopewell Township Code of Ordinances to add road improvement security agreement requirements, additional interconnection notice requirements, and revised glare and noise analysis standards for Principal Solar Energy Systems. Section 4 amends § 19-105 of the Hopewell Township Code of Ordinances to revise the language for modifications of screening requirements for Principal Solar Energy Systems. Section 5 is a repealer. Section 6 is a severability provision. Section 7 makes the ordinance effective immediately after its approval as provided by law.
