NOTICE is hereby given that a Regular Public Hearing will be held by the Monroe Planning Commission for the City of Monroe on December 1, 2025,in the Council Chambers, First Floor, City Hall, Monroe, Louisiana at 5:30 p.m. to consider the following case(s):
1. APPLICANT: City of Monroe/P& Z – DED 101-25
This is a request for dedication of a street name assignment “Hospitality Drive”. This is an existing 48’ wide by 355’ long (approx.) access road located within the Sam’s Club parking lot. The property is located at 5100 Frontage Road.
2. APPLICANT: Lazenby & Associates, Inc. – REV 103-25
This is a request for revocation for a portion of a 14’ wide by 150’ long alley located north of Peach Street, and west of Jackson Street. This is for the proposed construction of a new medicine clinic.
3. APPLICANT: Starns Kenny & Easterling Law Firm/Dollar General – CUP 113-25
This is a request for a Conditional Use Permit (Major) to allow off-premises alcohol sales in the B-3 (General Business/Commercial) District, at an existing retail goods establishment. The property is located at 4203 Jackson Street.
4. APPLICANT: Iglesia Peniel International – CUP 114-25
This is a request for a Conditional Use Permit (Major) to allow a house of worship (small) in the B-3 (General Business/Commercial) District. The property is located at 7942 DeSiard Street.
