Advertisement for Bids
Sealed bids will be received up to 9:00 A.M. (NO BIDS will be accepted after 9:00 A.M.)., December 11, 2025, at the office of the Board of Commissioners of the Caddo Levee District, 1320 Grimmett Drive, P. O. Box 78282, Shreveport, Louisiana 71137, for the following tracts of land to be permitted for grazing purposes only, for a period of (2)-two years and (8)-eight months with the purpose to rebid the following August 31, 2027.
Tract 1: Approximately 80 acres being 40 acres in SW/4 of SW/4 of Section 4, T21N, R16W and 40 acres in NW/4 of NW/4 of Section 9, T21N, R16W in Caddo Parish, Louisiana
Tract 2: Approximately 331 acres being all CLD lands in Section 13, south and west of Twelve Mile Bayou, T19N, R15W; that portion of Section 14, south and east of Hwy 173 and south and west of Twelve Mile Bayou, T19N, R15W in Caddo Parish, Louisiana
A sealed envelope containing bid must be marked on the outside of the envelope, “Grazing Permit Tract#___ to be opened at 10:00 a.m., December 11, 2025”.
No bid less than $12.50 per acre per year will be accepted. The Board reserves the right to reject all bids. Bid packages may be obtained from the Caddo Levee District, 1320 Grimmett Drive, Shreveport, LA, by mail from P. O. Box 78282, Shreveport, LA 71137-8282 or https://www.bidnetdirect.com/louisiana/caddoleveedistrict.
NOTE: THE CADDO LEVEE DISTRICT DOES NOT WARRANT THAT IT HAS LEGAL ACCESS TO THE ABOVE-DESCRIBED PROPERTY OR PROPERTIES. THE CADDO LEVEE DISTRICT MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE LEGAL ACCESS TO THE ABOVEDESCRIBED PROPERTY OR PROPERTIES. IT WILL BE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BIDDER TO OBTAIN LEGAL ACCESS TO THE ABOVE-DESCRIBED PROPERTY OR PROPERTIES IN THE EVENT THAT THE CADDO LEVEE DISTRICT DOES NOT HAVE LEGAL ACCESS. BID PAYMENTS WILL NOT BE RETURNED TO THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER IN THE EVENT THAT LEGAL ACCESS IS NOT AVAILABLE.
