NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
RENEWABLE WATER RESOURCES
FISCAL YEAR 2025 BUDGET AMENDMENT
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held before the Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) Board of Commissioners at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, the 15th day of December 2025. The hearing will be held at the ReWa Brushy Creek Pump House, which is located at 562 Mauldin Road, Greenville, South Carolina. The purpose of the public hearing will be to allow members of the public to express their views regarding the proposed amendments to the capital improvements portion of ReWa’s Fiscal Year 2025 budget. All persons who attend the public hearing will be given an opportunity to speak. As required by Section 6-1-80, Code of Laws of South Carolina 1976, as amended, the public is advised of the following:
1. The current Fiscal Year budget of ReWa for Fiscal Year 2025 projected revenues of $135,742,675 and expenses, including capital improvements, of $107,726,947.
2. The proposed amended budget of ReWa for Fiscal Year 2025 sustains revenues and expenses of $135,742,675; however, the funding sources of the $102,730,898 capital improvements budget have changed transferring a portion of grant funding to debt and cash reserves.
3. ReWa operates on a User-Fee system; therefore, no ad valorem taxes were levied to fund the current fiscal year. Furthermore, ad valorem taxes will not be used as a funding source for Fiscal Year 2025 and therefore, no tax millage has been or will be levied by ReWa.
