NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING RENEWABLE WATER RESOURCES NEW ACCOUNT FEES ON CAPITAL CONTRIBUTION EXTENSION   Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held before the Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) Board of Commissioners at 1:00 p.m. (or as soon thereafter as time permits) on Monday, the 15th day of December 2025. The hearing will be held at the ReWa Brushy Creek Pump House, which is located at 562 Mauldin Road, Greenville, South Carolina. The purpose of the public hearing will be to allow members of the public to express their views regarding extending the effective date of the $2,500 New Account Fee (NAF) payment where capital contributions have already been paid. All persons who attend the public hearing will be given an opportunity to speak. 1. The Trunk and Treatment New Account Fee resolution approved by ReWa on Monday, January 22, 2024 provided for the NAF to remain at $2,500 through December 31, 2025 (the “Prepayment Deadline”) if the capital contribution fee has been paid. ReWa is proposing to extend the Prepayment Deadline to June 30, 2026. 2. ReWa operates on a user-fee system and does not levy taxes therefore, the NAF is not a replacement for a property tax levy.
