NOVEMBER GENERAL SESSION KEWAUNEE COUNTY ADMINISTRATION CENTER NOVEMBER 10, 2025 The meeting of the Kewaunee County Board of Supervisors was called to order by the Kewaunee County Chairman Olson, on November 10, 2025 at 6:00 PM., Pledge of Allegiance, prayer, Roll Call: Supervisors Agamaite, Augustian, Baker, Browne, Guilette, Jahnke, Kinnard, Kroll, Lazansky, Lukes, Olson, Ortlieb, Paape, Patrycia, Romdenne, Shelton, Swagel, Teske, and Zeitler (19) were present. Supervisor Vollenweider (1) was excused, approval of County Board agenda and previous minutes, Citizens Input, Appointment, Reports, Kewaunee County Economic Development Corporation (KCEDC) Discussion – John Mastalir, Closed Session at 6:21 p.m., re-convene into Open Session at 6:27 p.m., RESOLUTION NO. 27-11-2025 - PURCHASE/MAINTAIN HIGHWAY EQUIPMENT-Impact Crusher and Transfer Switch, Supervisors Paape moved and Agamaite seconded for adoption. Roll Call Vote: 19 ayes, 0 nayes. Motion carried. RESOLUTION NO. 28-11-2025 - 2026 BUDGET & 2025 TAX LEVY, Supervisors Baker moved and Augustian seconded for adoption. Supervisors Lazansky moved and Patrycia seconded that the budget be amended to increase the 100.54200.000.601 VIP Fund on page 92, from $30,000 to $40,000 and take $10,000 away from the KCEDC Fund-100.55113.000.601. Supervisor Patrycia withdrew his second motion. Supervisor Lazansky changed her motion to have the $10,000 to be removed from the Fund Balance. Supervisor Patrycia seconded again. Roll Call Vote: 3 ayes (Lazansky, Shelton, Ortlieb), 16 nayes. Amendment failed. Supervisors Baker moved and Browne seconded to remove the funding of $40,000 from the 100.55113.000.601 KCEDC line on page 92. Roll Call Vote: 5 ayes (Baker, Browne, Paape, Romdenne, Swagel), 14 nayes. Motion failed. Supervisors Browne moved and Romdenne seconded to take $20,000 from the KCEDC Funds and move it to the Land & Water Well Testing line. Roll Call Vote: 5 ayes (Browne, Jahnke, Lazansky, Romdenne, Swagel), 14 nayes. Motion failed. Roll Call Vote on the original motion: 18 ayes, 1 naye (Swagel). Motion carried. Communications, Chairman's Comments Supervisors Paape moved and Romdenne seconded that the February County Board Meeting will tentatively be held on February 17, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at the Kewaunee County Administration Center.
