THE CITY OF APPLETON HAS IMPLEMENTED ONLINE BIDDING USING THE QUEST CONSTRUCTION DATA NETWORK. ONLY ELECTRONIC BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED THROUGH WWW.QUESTCDN.COM

This contract is Quest eBidDoc #9978025. Interested parties may view the contract documents at no cost on the QuestCDN website prior to becoming a plan holder. To be considered a plan holder for bids, a contractor must register on QuestCDN.com and purchase the digital contract documents. Registering as a plan holder is recommended for all prime contractors and subcontractors as plan holders will receive addenda and other contract document updates via QuestCDN.
There will be a pre-bid walk through on Thursday December 11, 2025 at 10:00 AM for those contractors interested. Attendance is recommended but not mandatory. Please meet at the Yellow Ramp, first floor by the elevators.
For this solicitation, bids will ONLY be received and accepted via the online electronic bid service through QuestCDN.com. Download the bid documents and click the online bidding button at the top of the advertisement to access the electronic bid qualifications and bid worksheet. Bids must be entered and submitted by 1:45 p.m. (C.D.T) December 22, 2025. Bids will be read at 2:00 p.m. at City Center Building, Sixth Floor, 100 N Appleton Street, Appleton, WI 54911.
Project Contractor pre-qualifications are specific to this project. No bid will be opened unless the following completed forms are filed in the office of the City Clerk not later than December 17, 2025: "Bidders Proof of Responsibility" for 2025, and the "Statement of Qualifications for Parking Ramp Repair Contractors". Forms and specific requirements are included in specifications and are also available at the office of the City Clerk. Reference is made to Section 66.0901 Wisconsin Statutes.
No bid shall be received unless accompanied by a bid bond (uploaded electronically during bid process) equal to five percent of the bid, payable to the City as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 10 days from the date the lowest responsible bidder's bid is accepted. If the bidder fails to file such contract and bond within the time set by the City, the bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages.
