LEGAL NOTICE   The following are summaries of ordinances adopted by Canton City Council on Nov. 10, 2025. The complete text of the ordinances may be obtained for 10 cents per page or viewed free at the office of the Clerk of Council in City Hall, 218 Cleve. Ave. S.W., Canton, Ohio 44702, during non-holiday weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Ordinance No. 209/2025 Appropriation Ord. No. 55/2025 is amended by making the supplemental appropriations and appropriation transfers listed on Ex. A of the ordinance. Adopted as an emergency. Ordinance No. 210/2025 The Mayor or Service Director is authorized to enter into contract amendment No. 2 with Sol Harris/Day Architecture, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $21,000 for additional civil engineering services related to the Civic Center restroom and parking lot expansion project. Appropriation Ord. No. 55/2025 is amended by making the appropriation transfer of $21,000 from 2175 Cleve Ave NW Paving 12th to 50th – Other to 2175 Civic Center – Administration - Other. The Auditor is authorized to pay all moral obligations related to this change order. Adopted as an emergency. Ordinance No. 211/2025 The Mayor or Service Director is authorized to enter into Change Order No. 1 and Final with Kinsey Excavating & Trucking LLC in an amount not to exceed $4,139.44 for the 6th St. NW Storm & Sanitary Relation Project – GP 1473. The Auditor is authorized to pay all moral obligations related to the above-named change order retroactively authorizing all actions taken in relation to its completion. Adopted as an emergency. Ordinance No. 212/2025 The Mayor or Service Director is authorized to enter into a change order with S.E.T., Inc. in an estimated amount of $525,892.60 for the East Tusc. Streetscape Phase 2 Project – G.P. 1422. Appropriation Ord. No. 55/2025 is amended by making the appropriation transfer of $10,000 from 4501 202001 Engineering Admin. – Other to 4501 E. Tusc. Streetscape G 1422 – Other and the supplemental appropriation of $125,353.50 from the Unappropriated Balance of 5413 Sewer Replacement Fund. Adopted as an emergency.
