Sealed bids, three original hard copies, will be received by the Town of Malone (Owner), on Tuesday January 13, 2026 until 2:00 pm local time, at the office of:

for construction of the following described Project:
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This project consists of paving improvements to 13th Ave from SR 71 to Bevis Road (approximately 0.9 miles) within the town limits of Malone, Florida. The existing asphalt roadway will be milled and resurfaced from SR 71 to 13th Street. From 13th Street to Bevis Road, a new asphalt roadway will be constructed over the existing graded road. Also included in this project are clearing and grubbing, excavation, ditch grading, drainage pipe culverts, concrete curbs, concrete sidewalk and grassing. Roadway signing and pavement markings are also included along with the placement of thermoplastic markings on the final lift of asphalt.

upon payment of $150 per hard copy set which amount constitutes the cost of reproduction and handling. This payment will not be refunded. Electronic Copies of bid documents will be available free of charge. The Owner plans to open bids and publicly read aloud on January 13, 2026 at 2:00 pm or soon thereafter, at the Town Hall Council Board Room located at 5182 9th Ave; Malone, FL 32445.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. Each Bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable according to the Department of Treasury Circular 570.
No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
Attention: Bidding Contractors must be prequalified by the DEPARTMENT (FDOT) as required by Section 2 of the current FDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction.
