The Citation prays that the property legally described as: LOTS 42,43 & 44 BLK 2 HIGHLAWN, and locally known as 2412 36th Street, Des Moines, Iowa, is in violation with the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Sections 61-31, 61-32 and 61-63 by not registering vacant property; not maintaining the exterior features of structure in good repair and sound condition. Further, Plaintiff prays: The Court order the Defendant to register the vacant structure with the City of Des Moines and pay the associated registration fee and repair or replace the violations with compatible materials in a workmanlike manner. Further, the Plaintiff requests that if the property is not abated in the time ordered by the court, the Plaintiff be authorized to enter upon the property and fenced area (if applicable) and abate the violations. Further, the Plaintiff requests that the court assess in rem against the property for the costs of this action and the costs incurred in the enforcement of the Municipal Code of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, inclusive of all fines and civil penalties incurred, all with interest.
