Proposed Amendment to language on residence definitions and non-utilization of certain types of vehicles as permanent residences.
The Jackson Township Zoning Board will hold a Public Hearing on Monday March 2, 2026, at 5:00 pm, in the Jackson Township Hall 59965 Olive Street, Byesville, OH 43723 to consider an amendment to local zoning ordinances regarding the prohibition of human occupancy in certain types of vehicles throughout the township as defined in ORC 4501.01 and 1546.01.
Ohio Revised Code (4501.01 and 1546.01) can be accessed online https://codes.ohio.gov with copies provided for viewing at the public hearing on March 2, 2026. The public hearing is open to residents of Jackson Township, Guernsey County, Ohio.
