PUBLIC NOTICE   Kimble Company, 3596 State Route 39 NW, Dover, Ohio 44622 has submitted an application for exemption # OA 10630, to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Mineral Resources Management for exemption from coal mining regulations (Chapter 1513 ORC) to extract coal incidental to the extraction of Sandstone, Clay, and Limestone under surface mining regulations (Chapter 1514 ORC). The proposed exemption area is located in sections 1 & 21 in Franklin Township and in sections 16, 24 & 25 in Lawrence Township, Tuscarawas County, Ohio on the properties of Massillon Properties LLC, Berlin Mineral Co., Holmes Limestone Co., and Independence OH, LLC. The proposed exemption encompasses 690.7 acres and is located on the Dover & Strasburg 7.5-minute USGS Quadrangle map. The application is on file at the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Mineral Resources Management located at: 2207 Reiser Avenue SE, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663 for public viewing.
