By virtue of an execution directed to the undersigned from the Superior Court of Gaston County in the action entitled County of Gaston vs. HEIRS OF ELSIE PAINTER, I will, on January 21, 2026 at 10:00 am, at the Gaston County courthouse door, in the City of Gastonia, sell the real property described below to the highest bidder FOR CASH to satisfy the execution on that real property. The execution was issued pursuant to judgment duly recorded in the office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Gaston County, in the amounts specified below. The following described property is located in the Southpoint Township, of Gaston County, North Carolina: The real property is owned by HEIRS OF ELSIE PAINTER and is described as follows: For legal description see Exhibit A which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference as if fully set out herein. Amount due under judgment, including costs: $8,526.65. The property will be sold “as-is, where is, with all faults,” subject to any and all existing liens, and all outstanding taxes and all local improvement assessments against the above-described property not included in the judgment in the above-entitled cause. The highest bidder at public sale shall be required to pay IN FULL the amount of the successful bid at the conclusion of the execution sale (subject to the confirmation of the sale as by law provided). The successful bid amount shall be paid in cash or certified funds (payable to the Gaston County Sheriff’s Office). The Sheriff’s office may, in its discretion, determine and allow a reasonable time within which to deliver the successful bid amount to that office. The successful bidder shall also be responsible for the payment of any excise/transfer taxes due to the Register of Deeds office, and all recording fees at the appropriate time.
