The Gulf County Board of County Commissioners, Gulf County, Florida (the "County") is seeking solicitations and sealed bids from qualified person, company or corporation interested in providing the following:
PURCHASE OF PROPERTY DESC. AS FOLLOWS: A negotiated and mutually suitable 5-acre frontage parcel of US Highway 98 of the following parent parcel described as:

A PARCEL OF LAND LYING AND BEING IN SECTION 19, TOWNSHIP 8 SOUTH, RANGE 10 WEST, GULF COUNTY, FLORIDA AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:

Minimum Bid for Parcel: $500,000.00
BID DEADLINE: Submitted on or before Monday, January 26, 2026 no later than 2:00 PM (Eastern) to the Gulf County Clerk of Court at 1000 Cecil G. Costin, Sr., Blvd., Room 149, Port St. Joe, Florida 32456 and will be opened at a meeting of the Gulf County Board of Commissioners in the Donald H. Butler Commission Chamber in the Robert M. Moore Administration Building, in the Gulf County Courthouse Complex, Port St. Joe, Florida for announcement and consideration at their publicly noticed regular meeting on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at 9:00 AM (Eastern).
Proposal submissions must submit in a sealed envelope or package, clearly marked with your name on the outside of your envelope, and provide two copies of your bid, and the Bid No. and title "GULF COUNTY US HIGHWAY 98 FIVE ACRE PARCEL FRONTAGE" so as to identify the enclosed bid. Proposals received later than the date and time as specified will be rejected. The Board will not be responsible for the late deliveries of proposals that are incorrectly addressed, delivered in person, by mail or any other type of delivery service.
The County reserves the right to waive minor irregularities, to reject any or all proposals received, and to otherwise make a decision in the best interests of the County. The Board shall have the final decision-making authority concerning any final award of selling the parcels. The proposals will be evaluated and then submitted with recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners. If only one proposal is received, the County may negotiate in good faith. Such bids and related information shall be subject to the applicable provisions of the Florida Public Records Act.
