City of Sault Ste Marie Chippewa County, Michigan   Notice of Board of Review Meetings   Notice is hereby given that the Board of Review (BOR) will hold their organizational meeting at 7:00 p.m., March 3, 2026 at the City of Sault Ste Marie commissioner’s chambers to review the 2026 tax assessment roll as prepared by the assessor.   The BOR meetings for assessment appeals of the 2026 tax assessment roll will be held at the Sault Ste Marie, City Hall, Third Floor Commissioner’s Chamber, Monday, March 9, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., and Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Owners and resident taxpayers may protest by letter. Letters must be received by March 9, 2026. Letters are sent to attention BOR to 225 E Portage Ave, Sault Ste Marie, MI 49783   Contact your Assessor. If you have questions or concerns about your assessment, please contact your assessor. He may be able to address your questions and concerns without you having to appeal to the March Board of Review.   Protest in Writing.
