PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT a Public Hearing will be held by the Planning Board of the Town of Mt. Pleasant on Monday Evening April 20, 2026 at 7:30 P.M., or as soon thereafter as possible, at Town Hall located at One Town Hall Plaza, Valhalla NY for the application of JMC, Engineering (Applicant), for The Jewish Board of Family Children's Services, (Owner) of parcel located at 226-228 Linda Avenue, Hawthorne, NY 10532. Owner is seeking approval of Subdivision Application # PSD-26-2 for the proposed subdivision of one 126.5 acre parcel into 91 lots: 87 single-family residential lots, 3 conservation/open space lots and 1 lot to continue the existing school operations. Parcel is in the R-40 Zoning District and is identified on the Town of Mt. Pleasant Tax Assessment Maps as SBL 112.10-4-26.
This Public Hearing is to receive comments specifically relating only to the Draft Scoping Document for the proposed subdivision. The Draft Scoping Document can be found at Town Hall or on the Town's website via the Planning Board page:
