Repeal and Re-Adopt Ordinances
Town of Wilson
Public Notice. This public notice addresses Wisconsin Statute § 60.80(5) and 61.50(3) requirements.
Purpose. The Town of Wilson repealed, amended and readopted the identified Ordinance and related permit forms at their March 16, 2026 meeting (date of enactment):
chapter 50 road layout and construction
chapter 51 regulating excavations
form application for regulating excavations
form application / permit to construct, maintain and operate utilities within road right of way
chapter 53 driveway permits
form application for driveway / culvert permit
chapter 54 regulations on use of rights of way
Summary. The following summarizes the general content of the respective Ordinance chapters.
general. parties may not commence any work related to these Ordinances without first obtaining a Town permit
chapter 50 road layout and construction
generally identifies minimum stormwater drainage, utility and road construction standards
requires as built surveys to confirm compliance with Master Site Grading Plans
chapter 51 regulating excavations
general construction requirements
public safety and continued access
chapter 53 driveway permits
minimum requirements and technical standards for driveways, culverts and drainage structures
chapter 54 regulations on use of rights of way
cultivation and landscaping
alteration of grade
signs, mail and newspaper boxes and other obstructions
private culverts
