CITY OF CUDAHY
NOXIOUS WEED NOTICE
Notice is hereby given to each person who owns, occupies or controls land in the City of Cudahy, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, to destroy noxious weeds on such property.
Noxious weeds are: Jimson, Burdock, Ragweed, Thistle, Cocklebur, Dandelions, Canadian Thistle, Leafy Spurge, Field Bindweed (creeping Jenny), Poison Oak, Poison Ivy, and Purple Loosestriff as required by Section 66.0407 of the Wisconsin Statutes.
The above named weeds or other weeds of a like kind found growing in any tract of land in the City are hereby declared a nuisance and no person shall permit any such weeds to grow or remain in any such place.
The weed commissioner (the Director of Public Works) shall serve or cause to be served a notice between May 1 and September 30 every year upon the owner of any premises on which weeds or plants grow demanding the abatement of the nuisance within ten days.
If the person so served does not abate the nuisance within ten days, the Weed Commissioner may proceed to abate such nuisance, keeping an account of the expense of the abatement, including a fee for administrative processing in the amount of 10% of the actual cost of weed cutting, but not to exceed $10.00, and such expense shall be charged to and paid by such owner or occupant.
