Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of the Jeromesville Community Fire District of Ashland, Ohio, passed on the 13th day of January, 2026, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the Primary Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 5th day of May, 2026 the questions of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, which shall be a renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Jeromesville Community Fire District for the purpose of fire protection and emergency medical services at a rate not exceeding 1.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $17 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for 5 years. The estimated annual collection of this levy is $133,160. The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.
