NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING OF TOMKINS COVE PUBLIC LIBRARY   NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the annual meeting of the Tomkins Cove Public Library for the taxpayers within the Tomkins Cove Public Library District qualified to vote at school meetings and/or library meetings will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 7:00 P.M. Daylight Savings Time at the Tomkins Cove Public Library Building, Old Tomkins Cove School Route 9W, Tomkins Cove, N.Y. 10986, for the transaction of such business as may properly come before this meeting.   NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that a statement of the amount of monies which will be required for the ensuing year may be obtained by any taxpayer of the district during the FOURTEEN (14) DAYS immediately PRECEDING the annual meeting, at the TOMKINS COVE PUBLIC LIBRARY BUILDING, Route 9W, Tomkins Cove, N.Y. during library hours on the following dates: Wednesday, May 13th, Thursday, May 14th, Friday, May 15th, Monday, May 18th through Friday, May 22nd and Tuesday, May 26th through Friday, May 29th and Monday, June 1st and Tuesday, June 2nd.   NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that petitions nominating candidates for the office of member of the- Board of Trustees must be filed with the Clerk of the Central School District No. 1, Towns of Haverstraw and Stony Point Rockland County, and Tuxedo, Woodbury and Highlands, Orange County (commonly and usually known as "North Rockland School District"), at the office of the said school district clerk, located in the school district headquarters building, 65 Chapel Street, Garnerville, N.Y. 10923, not later than the FOURTEENTH DAY PRECEDING the annual library meeting.   NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN the term of incumbent trustee Jennifer Teichmann will expire on June 30, 2026 and that a trustee is to be elected in her place and stead for a term of five (5) years.   NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that, with respect to the registration of voters any person (otherwise qualified to vote) who is registered under the provisions of Article 15 of the Election Law shall be entitled to vote at the annual meeting without further registration; and no person will be entitled to vote in such election whose name does not appear on the current registration list of the Board of Elections of Rockland County.   By order of the Board of Education   MICHELLE PICARELLO Clerk of the School District 12228364
