BY VIRTUE of and to satisfy an WRIT OF SEIZURE AND SALE issued from the Honorable 9th Judicial District Court, and to me directed as Sheriff and Ex-Officio Auctioneer of Rapides Parish, Louisiana, directing and commanding me to seize and sell the property, rights and credits of the defendant, I have seized the following property and will offer for sale to the last and highest bidder at Public Auction on the second floor of the Court House in Alexandria, Louisiana, between the hours prescribed by law, on Wednesday the 20th day of May, 2026 the following property to-wit :
A certain piece, parcel or tract of land, together with all buildings and improvements located thereon and all rights, ways and privilges thereto appertaining, being, lying and situated in Rapides Parish, Louisiana, being described as a 14.37 +/- acre tract being a portion of Lots 3 and 5, G.R. Chambers Subdivision, located in Section 7, Township 2 North, Range 2 East, Rapides Parish, Louisiana, being more particularly described as follows, to wit:
Commencing at the southeast quarter, Section 7, Township North, Range 2 East; thence proceed North 45 degrees 01 minutes 55 seconds West, a distance of 155.298 feet to a point; thence turn right and proceed North 00 degrees 51 minutes 51 seconds West, a distance of 22.52 feet to a 1/2" iron rod; thence turn left and proceed North 45 degrees 01 minutes 56 seconds West, along the northeast right of way line of La. Hwy 1, a distance of 137.34 feet to a LDOTD Right of Way Monument; thence turn left and proceed North 56 degrees 24 minutes 23 seconds West along said right ot way line, a distance of 50.93 feet to a LDOTD Right of Way Monument marking the POINT OF BEGINNING of the tract to be described.
Thence turn right and proceed North 45 degrees 02 minutes 21 seconds West along the northeast right of way line of La. Hwy. 1 a distance of 275.07 feet to a 1/2" iron rod; thence turn right and proceed North 00 degrees 15 minutes 12 seconds West, a distance of 2038.87 feet to a 1/2" iron rod; thence turn right and proceed south 89 degrees 58 minutes 07 seconds East, a distance of 482.85 feet to a 1/2" iron rod; thence turn right and proceed South 10 degrees 50 minutes 13 seconds West, a distance of 1521.15 feet to a 1/2" iron rod; thence turn left and proceed South 00 degrees 31 minutes 38 seconds East a distance of 738.98 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNNING.
The above-described tract contaings 14.37 acres and is more particularly indicated as Tract 2 on Certificate of Survey by William J. Wood, dated September 1, 2010 said plat recorded in Conveyance Book 1897, page 219, official records of Rapides Parish, Louisiana.
