NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Notice is given that the Stillwater Public Schools Independent School District No. 16 of Payne County Oklahoma , herein after called the “Stillwater Public Schools” will receive sealed bids at the Stillwater Public Schools Administration Building Office, 314 South Lewis Street, Stillwater Oklahoma until 2:00PM, Thursday, May 7th, 2026 for the:

The Work consists of an interior renovation: Aluminum storefront, interior painting, gym flooring, metal stud framing, door, and door hardware.
Bids filed with the Stillwater Public Schools Administration Office shall be opened publicly and read aloud in the Stillwater Public Schools Administration Building Boardroom, 314 South Lewis Street, Stillwater Oklahoma at the time stated above or later. Stillwater Public Schools shall consider all bids prior to the award of the contract. The Stillwater Board of Education may consider award of the bid at the May Stillwater Public Schools Board Meeting.

PRE-BID MEETING AND SITE ACCESS
The bidder shall attend the mandatory pre-bid conference at 3:15:pm on Wednesday, April 29th, 2026 at SPS Richmond Elementary located at 201 West Richmond Road, Stillwater, Oklahoma in the front lobby of the building. Attendance is mandatory for General Contractors in order to be qualified to submit a bid.
Access to the building will be available at the meeting.
REQUEST FOR SUBSTITUTIONS AND REQUESTS FOR INTERPRETATIONS (RFI’S)
Requests for Substitutions and Requests for Interpretation (RFI’s) will be accepted in accordance with procedures described in Division 01, no exceptions. The last date for receipt of substitution requests and RFI’s is Thursday, April 30th, 2026 at noon.
Submit Requests for Substitution and Requests for Interpretation in written form only using the forms provided in Sections 01 2500 and 01 3100 respectively to Jeff Thomas, LEED AP at jt@505architects.com. Responses will be issued to bidding General Contractors via an Addendum.
Bids must be sealed and must include “SPS RICHMOND & SKYLINE ELEMENTARY SECURITY, SAFETY, AND FINISH IMPROVEMENTS” on the bottom left-hand corner of the bid envelope and mailed or delivered to the Stillwater Public Schools Administration Building Boardroom, 314 South Lewis Street, Stillwater Oklahoma 74075. Bidders must include a return address on the top left-hand corner of the envelope. All bids shall be typewritten or in ink.
All sealed bids will be publicly opened, recorded, and studied for recommendations to the Stillwater Board of Education. Bids received after the official stated time or more than ninety-six hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays, before the official stated time set for the opening of bids, will not be accepted. No bids may be submitted, changed, or withdrawn after the time of the opening of the bids. Pursuant to Title 61 “Oklahoma Public Competitive Bidding Act”.
Stillwater Public Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any formalities or irregularities in any bid, and to accept the bid or bids which seem most advantageous to the Stillwater Public Schools.
