ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Central Kitsap School District (CKSD) – Request sealed bids for EV Charging Stations project, Bid No. 2412.
The Work comprises of Base Bid A and Base Bid B. At CKSD Operations Service Center, Base Bid A includes installation of new electrical to support Level 2 and Level 3 EV charging equipment, with provisions for future, as well as installation of bollards, wheel stops, pavement removal and restoration for all improvements, and restriping of parking stalls. At adjacent CKSD Maintenance Facility, Base Bid B includes installation of new electrical to support Level 2 and Level 3 EV Charging equipment as well as installation of bollards, wheel stops, and restriping of parking stalls. A new electric service is to be provided in Base Bid B. All required underground and restoration work is included. Procurement, installation and commissioning of EV charging equipment is included.
The estimated cost range for this project is
$ 1,000,000.
The bids shall include all Work pursuant to the Drawings and Project Manuals, and Addenda(s) issued prior to bid opening date.
Part 1: CKSD will receive Sealed Bids at: Capital Projects Office located at 1400 NE McWilliams Road, Bremerton, WA 98311, starting at 2:30 PM to no later than 3:30 PM, May 20, 2026. Bids will be publicly opening and read aloud at the above address for the project.
Part 2: Electrical subcontractor work listings is due at the same time as Part 1 on May 20, 2026. Shortly after 3:30 PM, bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the day and hour stated in this section may not receive con of sideration.
Part 3: Prior to 3:30 PM on May 22, 2026, within 48-hours of the time and date for the Receipt of Bids, bidders shall submit Structural Steel & Rebar Installation subcontractor work listings to Capital Projects Office located at 1400 NE McWilliams Road, Bremerton, WA 98311. Shortly after 3:30 PM subcontractor work listings will be publicly opened and read aloud. Work listings received after the day and hour stated above will not receive consideration. Owner reserves the right to postpone the Bid opening. Part 3 may be turned in with Part 1 and 2 or shortly afterwards.
This project is subject to meet Washington State prevailing wages rates. All work performed on the project will be subject to the approved wage determination rates in the bid documents.

Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check or bid bond with State-Licensed Surety Company as surety, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid, made payable to the Central Kitsap School District #401. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a one hundred percent (100%) Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bond. Such bonds shall be furnished by a surety company acceptable to the Owner.

This project will require compliance with state of Washington prevailing wages and Davis-Bacon Act wages. Pursuant to RCW 39.04.320, no less than fifteen percent of the labor hours shall be performed by apprentices, unless a different amount is permitted or otherwise required by law.
The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive minor irregularities in the bidding process, and to accept the bid deemed best for them.

No bidder may withdraw their bid after the time set for the opening thereof, unless the award of the contract is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days.
