NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON INCLUSION OF REAL PROPERTY INTO THE EDISON FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
NOTICE is hereby given to all interested persons that the Board of Directors of the Edison Fire Protection District will conduct a public hearing to consider a Resolution and Order for Inclusion of Real Property on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 beginning at 7:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, at 14550 Edison Road, Yoder, Colorado 80864, pursuant to Section 32-1-401(2)(a)(II), C.R.S.
All persons interested shall appear at said hearing to show cause in writing why the Resolution and Order should not be adopted.
The area proposed for inclusion is generally described as follows:
Located in the northeast area of Pueblo County, State of Colorado:
Beginning at the intersection of El Paso, Pueblo, Lincoln and Crowley Counties, and continuing west along the Pueblo County line to the northeast corner of the Edison Fire Protection District boundary; following the eastern and southern boundary of the Edison Fire Protection District to its southwest corner, then along the line of Dot Road south to the intersection of IL Ranch Rd; continuing south along IL Ranch Road, and following the eastern and southern boundary of the Pueblo Chemical Depot to its intersection with the Pueblo Rural Fire Protection District's boundary; following and continuing along the northern boundary of the Pueblo Rural Fire District's boundary to the intersection with the Fowler Rural Fire Protection District's boundaries; continuing east along Fowler Rural Fire Protection District's northern boundary to the Pueblo County line; and following the Pueblo County line north to the El Paso County line (point of beginning);
EXCEPTING all property located within the Town of Boone, State of Colorado (Pueblo County Tax District 70G).
