The purpose of the hearing is to consider a variance application for Gaston County parcel number 196103 consisting of approximately 0.18 acres, located at 5411 Old Course Dr. The request is for a variance from the dimensional standards of the R-3 PUD Zoning District, which requires a minimum rear setback of 25-feet for single-family detached residences. This request is for a 12’ variance for the construction of a 144 sqft (12’ x 12’) residential home addition.
