TO ALL OWNERS, OPERATORS AND PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED LANDS IN THE BAXTERVILLE FIELD, AND IN THE FOLLOWING LANDS LOCATED IN LAMAR COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI:
The West Half of Section 10, Township 1 North, Range 16 West, Lamar County, Mississippi, and containing 320 acres.
TAKE NOTICE that LAMAR ENERGY, LLC ("Lamar") has filed a Petition with the State Oil and Gas Board of Mississippi in the above-referenced docket requesting that the Board grant the following relief: grant an exception for the location of the bottom hole plug under Statewide Rule 28 of the Statewide Rules and Regulations, for the plugging of the Batson 10-4 No. 2 Well (the "Well"), which is located in Section 10, Township 1 North, Range 16 West, Lamar County, Mississippi, in the Baxterville Field, and for other relief as set forth in the Petition. The Petition in this matter is on file in the records in the office of the Mississippi State Oil and Gas Board and may be examined there.
TAKE NOTICE that the above and foregoing matter will be heard at the regular May 2026 meeting to be held at 9:00 o'clock a.m. on May 20, 2025, at 500 Greymont Ave., Jackson, Mississippi, at which time and place all interested parties may appear and contest said matter.
If you intend to the contest the docket or request a continuance, you must notify the Board and Petitioner's representative of your intention in writing not later than 5:00 o'clock p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 (seven days prior to the date stated above for the hearing). Failure to so notify the Board and Petitioner shall be a waiver of your right to contest or request continuance.
You are advised that the Board may adopt orders concerning a Petition which may differ from the relief requested by Petitioner, and the Board will enter such order or orders in its judgment as may be appropriate in accordance with the evidence presented.
