NOTICE OF HEARING
Please be advised that this notice is being provided pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-12 to inform you that an Application(s) for:
Preliminary and Major Site Plan approval with C variances for (i) Height (Section X(D)(5) of Journal Sq. 2060 Redevelopment Plan) where the maximum permitted height is sixty-four (64) feet and sixty-five (65) feet are proposed and (ii) rear yard setback (Section X(D)(6)(c) of Journal Sq. 2060 Redevelopment Plan) where the required minimum setback above the ground floor is 30 feet and a setback of 19 feet 6 inches is proposed above the ground floor; and any other variance(s), waiver(s) or exception(s) the Board may deem as required, has been filed with the Jersey City Planning Board for property located at:
822-826 Pavonia Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07306, Block(s) 9404 Lot(s) 25.01 & 27
The purpose of this application is to: Construct a new six (6) story, thirty-five (35) dwelling unit multi-family building in Zone 4 of the Journal Square 2060 Redevelopment Plan.
Any person interested in this application will have the opportunity to address the Planning Board at the meeting of Tuesday, May 12th, 2026 at 5:30 pm in the Board Room of the Holloway Building, 4 Jackson Square, Jersey City, NJ 07305.
