NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING   NOTICE IS HEREBY given that pursuant to Montana Code Annotated Title 15, Chapter 6, Part 1, the Cascade County Commissioners will hold a public hearing at the Courthouse Annex, located at 325 Second Ave. N., Room 111, Great Falls, Montana, on the 12th day of May 2026, at 9:30 a.m. to consider an application as submitted by Janicki Industries. The application would provide potential tax abatements for the manufacturing machinery, fixtures, and equipment in service January 1, 2027 through December 31st, 2027: $50,000,000; January 1st, 2028 through December 31st, 2028: $10,000,000; January 1st, 2029 through December 31st, 2029: $50,000,000; January 1st, 2030 through December 31st, 2032: $50,000,000 located at Great Falls AgriTech Park, Great Falls, Montana, Geocodes: Track 1: 02-3016-03-1-01-04-0000; Track 2: 02-3016-03-101-08-0000; Track 3: 02-3016-03-1-04-01-0000. The purpose of the public hearing is to determine whether the manufacturing machinery, fixtures, and equipment eligible for an abatement has an impact on services and make a determination whether the eligible abatement activities will have a fiscal impact to the county. The Cascade County Commissioners shall issue a decision regarding whether to allow the abatement at 100%, 90%, or 80%. ln the first five years after the manufacturing machinery fixtures, and equipment assets are placed in service, the assets will be designated at the abatement percentage exemption allowed, which must be phased out at a rate of 20% of the amount allowed by the local governing body with the property being assessed at 100% of its taxable value after a 10-year period. ln subsequent years, the property must be taxed at 100% of its taxable value.   The application and materials for Janicki Industries tax abatements are on file in the Cascade County Commission Chambers, 325 2nd Avenue North, Room 111, Great Falls, MT.
