TOWN OF EMPIRE REQUEST FOR BIDS FOR COLD MIX PAVER WEDGING AND HOT OIL CHIP SEAL COATING   Sealed bids are requested for the cold mix wedging and aggregate seal coating including the cleaning of the road surface and any cold mix hand patching required for various roads in the Town of Empire, Fond du Lac County. Bids will be for a full 1¼ average compacted depth cold mix wedge on various sections. In addition, the bid is to include cold mix wedging only on various sections of roads and full single hot oil chip seal coat using F-1 Granite Blackstone . Bidders are advised that the Town of Empire reserves the right to postpone payment for said seal coat and wedging until Nov. 30, 2025. To be eligible to bid, the contractor will have a minimum of five years’ experience in cold mix paving and hot oil seal coating and be prepared to supply the road superintendent a list of five references of projects that have been completed by the contractor.
