ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS   Sealed Bids for the construction of “2026 Road Paving and Associated Work” will be received by the Town of Sterling at the DPW office, 171 Worcester Road, Sterling, MA 01564 until 1:00 p.m. local time on June 4, 2026 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Sealed Bids must have outer envelope marked as “SEALED BID- 2026 Sterling Road Paving and Associated Work.”   The Bid work consists of drainage replacement, full depth reclaiming, grading, cold planning, paving and other incidental work on various streets in Town.   All Bids for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30, Section 39M as amended.   Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Town of Sterling DPW office by calling 978-422-6767 or e-mailing DPW@sterling-ma.gov.   Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development under the provision of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project.   MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as, Pavement-Surfacing, for the project with an estimated value of $1,856,475.00 will be required.   TOWN OF STERLING, MASSACHUSETTS May 21, 28, 2026
