LEGAL NOTICE In accordance with North Carolina General Statute §159-11 and §159-12, the proposed budget for Cleveland County's Fiscal Year 2026 – 2027, will be open for public inspection, beginning May 22, 2026, in the office of the County Clerk, Cleveland County Administrative Office Building, 311 East Marion Street, Shelby, North Carolina, during regular business hours, the Cleveland County Public Libraries (Boiling Springs, Kings Mountain, Lawndale, Shelby) during regular business hours, and the Cleveland County website www.clevelandcounty.com. The Cleveland County Board of Commissioners will conduct a public hearing on the proposed budget for Cleveland County's Fiscal Year 2026 – 2027 on TUESDAY, JUNE 2, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.The public hearing will be held in the Commission Chamber, County Administrative Office Building, 311 East Marion Street, Shelby, North Carolina, at which time the public will have the opportunity to make any comments or recommendations relative to the proposed budget.
