NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING & NOTICE
OF INTENTION TO ADOPT ORDINANCE
BY RED LION BOROUGH COUNCIL
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Borough of Red Lion will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 8, 2026, beginning at 7:05 p.m. in the meeting room of the Red Lion Borough Office Building, 438 East Lancaster Street, in the Borough of Red Lion, for the purpose of obtaining public input proposed zoning ordinance text amendments. The purpose of the public hearing is to inform the public of the proposed amendment and receive public comment. The Council of the Borough of Red Lion will then consider for enactment and take action upon this ordinance either at the conclusion of the public hearing or as a scheduled agenda item during the regularly scheduled meeting to be held at the same time.
In summary, this ordinance amends the Zoning Ordinance of Red Lion Borough to substantially revise definitions of types of signs in Section 27-203; and comprehensively replace and revise Section 27-409 to regulate permitted signs, their sizes and locations. The amendment also provides an effective date.
