NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE WATERTOWN PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE CREATION OF THE TAX INCREMENT DISTRICT NUMBER TWENTY-FOUR, Notice is hereby given pursuant to § 11-9-3 of the South Dakota Codified Laws, that a public hearing shall be conducted at 20 N. Maple, City Hall Council Chamber, Watertown, South Dakota, on June 4th, 2026 at 4:15 p.m. or as soon thereafter as can be heard by the Watertown Planning Commission on the question of whether to recommend the formation of a tax incremental district to be located in the following location: "The East 175.8’ of the North 1520.8’ of Lot 1 Prairie Haven Annexation First Addition AND all that portion of Lot 1 Prairie Haven First Addition LESS Prairie Haven Second Addition all to the Municipality of Watertown, in the County of Codington, South Dakota." All Located in the City of Watertown, Codington County, South Dakota including within and adjacent rights-of-way. At said time and place, the City Planning Commission shall give all parties who appear or submit written comments an opportunity to express their views with respect to the proposed creation of the District and its proposed location. Written comments will be received at the office of the Community Development Department until the date and time set for the public hearing.
