NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING  ON  ANNEXATION, INITIAL ZONING, AND ZONING MAP AMENDMENT  TOWN OF LELAND, NC    Notice is hereby given that the Leland Town Council will conduct a public hearing on Monday, September 22, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. or shortly thereafter at the Leland Cultural Arts Center, located at 1212 Magnolia Village Way, Leland, NC to consider an annexation, an initial zoning, and zoning map amendment described as follows:  To annex and initially zone a portion of Brunswick County Tax Parcel ID 0470002402 from CO-CLD, Commercial Low Density District, CO-SBR-6000, Site Built Residential District, to LE-FCZ, FlexCode Zone District and LE-PUD, Planned Unit Development District and to rezone a portion of the same parcel already within the Town of Leland from LE-R-6, Residential District, Medium Density to LE-FCZ, FlexCode Zone District and LE-PUD, Planned Unit Development District. The subject parcel is located north of the Brunswick Forest, Mal-lory Creek Plantation, and Westport neighborhoods and South of the Westgate commercial area.  The Public is encouraged to attend and participate in the public hearing.
