NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF MITCHELL CITY COUNCIL Notice is hereby given that the Common Council for the City of Mitchell (the "Council") will conduct a public hearing on Monday, October 6, 2025 at 7:00 p.m., local time, at the Mitchell City Hall located at 407 S. 6th Street, Mitchell, Indiana, to consider the following: Proposed Ordinance to increase rates for the collection of garbage, as follows: (1) Single family residential property: $16.00 per month for 2026. (2) For duplex apartment residences containing not more than two (2) rental units: $21.00 per month for 2026. (3) For an apartment residence containing at least three (3) but not more than ten (10) rental units: $31.00 per month for 2026. (4) For an apartment residence containing more than ten (10) rental units: $56.00 per month for 2026. (5) For a retail or commercial business: $26.00 per month for 2026. (6) For a church: $16.00 per month for 2026.
