CASE 25-09 ZONING MAP AMENDMENT: Sugar Branch Farms LLC is requesting to rezone parcel 6071 at 2218 Emerald Mine Rd. from Residential (R) to Rural Residential (RU). The property is approximately 85 acres and lies along the 1st Broad River near the end of Emerald Mine Rd. south of Shelby.
CASE 25-11 ZONING MAP AMENDMENT: George Ellis is requesting to rezone parcel 5385 at 154 Runyan Rd. from Residential (R) to Rural Residential (RU). The property lies south of Patterson Springs.
CASE 25-12 ZONING MAP AMENDMENT:Neisler Brothers, Inc is requesting to rezone a 15.8-acre portion of parcels 11496 & 60018 at 135 Dixon Dairy Rd. from Heavy Industrial (HI) Residential (R). The parcel lies southwest of Kings Mountain, just north of I-85 and west of Bethlehem Rd.
CASE 25-13 ZONING MAP AMENDMENT: Parcel 12261, a 31.63 acre property located at 130 Tack Ct. and parcel 62806, a .21 acre parcel located off Oak Grove Rd. in Kings Mountain are being considered for Cleveland County future land use designations and zoning districts as they will be relinquished from the City of Kings Mountain’s Extraterritorial Jurisdiction. These properties will now become part of the County’s planning and development jurisdiction, meaning the County will be responsible for providing planning and inspection services. The properties are located just north of Kings Mountain near the Putnam Lake Rd and Oak Grove Rd area.
The Board of Commissioners may change the existing zoning classification of the entire area covered by the petition, or any part thereof, without the necessity of withdrawal or modification of the petition or further publication of notice.
