PUBLIC NOTICE CITY OF GREER, SOUTH CAROLINA NONPARTISAN REGULAR GENERAL ELECTION   The Municipal Election Commission of the City of Greer announces the general election for The City of Greer to be Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Any person wishing to register to vote in this election must do so no later than October 3, 2025. To register, one must contact the County Board of Voter Registration.   The following office shall be included in this election: Councilmember from District 2 for term expiring December 31, 2029. Councilmember from District 4 for term expiring December 31, 2029. Councilmember from District 6 for term expiring December 31, 2029. Commissioner of Public Works for term expiring December 31, 2031.   This is a nonpartisan election and no party affiliation shall be placed on the ballot.   At 2:00 p.m. on said Election Day the poll managers will begin examination of the absentee ballot return envelopes. This examination will be held at the Greenville and Spartanburg Voter Registrations and Elections Offices.   On Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Greenville County Voters Registration and Election Office the Municipal Election Commission will hold a hearing to determine the validity of ballots challenged in this election.
