NOTICE TO BIDDERS
LEAF COLLECTION
Lower Makefield Township will receive sealed bids from interested vendors to provide equipment and manpower to support our Leaf Collection Program until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2025, and none thereafter, at which time the bids will be opened. Bids will be reviewed and awarded to the best qualified vendors at a subsequent meeting of the Board of Supervisors.
Notice is hereby given that the Township will be receiving bids for the above stated service for the period starting November 2025 until work is completed.
Vendor shall supply a self-contained leaf collection machine, minimum 20 cubic yards, pulled by a truck with licensed operator of sufficient GVWR for the collection machine size. Bids must be submitted on forms furnished by the Township. Specifications, contract documents, and all necessary information for the above shall be obtained from the Lower Makefield Township Public Works Department between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday beginning Monday, September 15, 2025. All bids must be sealed and addressed to Lower Makefield Township Public Works Department, 1100 Edgewood Road, Yardley, PA 19067 and have the words “Leaf Collection” clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. Delivery of the proposals to the Township Office shall be the sole responsibility of the proposer.
The Lower Makefield Township Board of Supervisors reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and award to the selected vendors that best meet the Township’s needs.
